1 Purpose, Scope and Acceptance ⏱ 2 Min Read

1. PURPOSE, SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE

1.1. The purpose of this Ambush Open Beta Player Code of Conduct and Terms of Service is to ensure that all players take part in a fair, safe, respectful, and competitive gaming environment, to determine the conditions of use for the game services, and to explain the sanctions that may be applied to rule violations.

1.2. Every user who logs into Ambush, creates an account, or uses the game services in any way acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

1.3. Accounts that violate the rules may face one or more of the following sanctions, depending on the nature, severity, and repetition of the violation, the damage caused to the game services, and other relevant conditions: warning, communication restriction, temporary suspension, account reset, rollback of progress or rewards, or permanent account ban.

1.4. For severe violations or situations that endanger the safety of the game services, the players, or Altai Studio, a temporary or permanent ban may be applied directly without prior warning.

1.5. These rules are valid during the open beta. Altai Studio reserves the right to update, change, abolish, or keep the rules fully or partially in effect for the official release.

1.6. Rule changes may be announced in-game, on official communication channels, or through other methods deemed appropriate by Altai Studio. If the user continues to use the game after the change, it means they accept the updated rules.

3 In Game Communication Rules ⏱ 4 Min Read

3. IN GAME COMMUNICATION RULES

3.1. Scope of Communication Rules The communication rules stated in this section apply to the public text and voice chat channels in the game. Private messages are outside of Altai Studio's active moderation scope in terms of rule control and administration intervention. Players who are harassed via private messages should use the internal block and communication restriction tools. Altai Studio does not guarantee the continuous monitoring of private communications. However, cases required by current laws and reports of serious threats or attacks directly related to game security are exceptions.

3.2. Inappropriate, Obscene and Harmful Content It is forbidden to share, spread, publish, describe, or link to the following content via in-game text or voice chat channels:

  • d) Content that encourages torture, extreme violence, or abuse,
  • e) Illegal and harmful materials,
  • f) Links, directions, or information that make it easier to obtain or spread these contents. Violating this rule can result in sanctions ranging from a warning to a permanent account ban, depending on the severity of the violation. For severe or illegal content, a permanent ban may be applied without prior warning.

3.3. Hate Speech and Discrimination Based on race, ethnicity, nationality, nation, color, language, religion, belief, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, or similar personal or social characteristics; it is forbidden to:

  • a) Use insulting statements,
  • b) Insult,
  • c) Target a person or a group,

3.4. Cultural and Religious Sensitivities Direct insults, targeting, degrading mockery, provocation, or aggressive remarks cannot be made about leaders, historical figures, religious or cultural values, beliefs, and symbols that are important to any community, nation, or group. The game environment cannot be turned into a space for political, religious, or social provocation. Expressions that are criticism or statements of opinion will only be evaluated under this article if they contain insults, threats, hate speech, harassment, or clear provocation. Behaviors that violate this rule may result in a warning, communication restriction, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on the nature of the violation.

3.5. Unwanted Message Traffic and Spam The following behaviors are considered spam:

  • a) Sending the same or similar messages repeatedly at short intervals,
  • b) Making the chat channel unusable with meaningless, irrelevant, or an excessive number of messages,
  • c) Using automated message sending tools,
  • d) Intentionally disrupting the flow of chat,
  • e) Making continuous, very loud, or meaningless noise over voice chat,
  • f) Creating message or voice traffic to prevent other players from communicating. Server-based automatic control systems can instantly detect spam behaviors. If detected, the player's text or voice chat access may be automatically restricted temporarily or permanently. After the automatic restriction, management can review the case and apply additional sanctions if deemed necessary.

3.6. Screen Reader Manipulation and Abuse It is forbidden to share special texts, control characters, character strings, codes, links, or similar contents in communication channels in order to cause screen readers, assistive technologies, or the game client to:

  • a) Freeze,
  • b) Crash,
  • c) Consume excessive resources,
  • d) Read incorrectly or read continuously without the ability to stop,
  • e) Become unusable. Violating this rule can result in a warning, communication restriction, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban. Intentionally aiming to cause mass harm is considered a severe violation.

3.7. Unauthorized Sharing of Personal Data and Doxing It is forbidden to share the following information of a player or a third party without the explicit consent of the person involved:

  • a) Real first and last name,
  • b) Home or work address,

  • d) Personal email address,
  • e) Identity or account information,
  • f) Location information,
  • g) Information about their private life,
  • h) Other information that could endanger their safety or the safety of their relatives. Threatening to publish personal information, directing other players to find this information, or targeting a person is also evaluated under this article. Depending on the nature of the violation and the risk it creates, a communication restriction, temporary suspension, or a direct permanent account ban may be applied.

3.8. Harassment, Threats and Persistent Stalking It is forbidden to continuously target, follow, threaten, humiliate, intimidate, or persistently bother a player or management staff member to ruin their gaming experience. If a player clearly states they do not want to communicate or uses the block mechanism, and the communication continues through different accounts or channels, it may be considered an aggravating factor.

4 Cheating and unauthorized Tool Use ⏱ 4 Min Read

4. CHEATING AND UNAUTHORIZED TOOL USE

4.1. General Principle It is essential that all players in Ambush compete on equal terms. Using any software, hardware, automation system, game exploit, or similar method that provides an unfair advantage is forbidden. When deemed necessary, Altai Studio reserves the right to review account activities, game logs, client and server interactions, security records, and other technical data related to suspected violations. Violations stated in this section may result in one or more of the following sanctions, depending on the nature of the violation, repetition, the advantage gained, and the damage done to the game:

  • a) Warning,
  • b) Temporary suspension,
  • c) Account or rank reset,
  • d) Taking back unfairly gained rewards, points, ranks, or progress,
  • e) Permanent account ban. For severe violations, a permanent ban may be applied directly without prior warning.

4.2. Use of Cheat Programs It is forbidden to use any cheat software that changes the game mechanics, provides the player with information or advantages they would not normally have, interferes with the game client, or manipulates the communication between the server and the client. For the first violation, a temporary suspension or direct permanent ban may be applied. Repeated, systematic, or severe violations result in a permanent account ban.

4.3. Use of Bots and Automation It is forbidden to use bots, automation tools, or similar systems that manage the character, move, fight, gather resources, do quests, join matches, or automatically perform in-game actions without the player's real-time and direct intervention. For the first violation, a temporary suspension or direct permanent ban may be applied. For repeated or severe violations, a permanent account ban is applied.

4.4. Use of Macros and Scripts It is forbidden to use macros, scripts, automatic key sequences, or similar tools that automatically perform multiple in-game actions through a single key, command, or input. Standard accessibility functions provided by the operating system or assistive technology for accessibility purposes, which do not give the player superhuman speed, auto-aim, repeated inputs, timing advantages, or any other competitive edge, are not considered cheating under this provision. However, functions that automate game inputs or provide an unfair advantage to the player, even if used under the name of an accessibility tool, are forbidden. Depending on the nature of the violation, a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban may be applied.

4.5. Exploiting Game Bugs and Glitches To take advantage of an error, exploit, bug, synchronization issue, or design flaw in the game to

  • a) Gain an unfair competitive advantage,
  • b) Obtain items, money, experience, points, or rewards,
  • c) Manipulate the rankings,
  • d) Harm other players,
  • e) Move outside the normal boundaries of the game is strictly prohibited. A player who encounters a bug must not use it repeatedly and must report it through the official in-game support system. Unfairly obtained gains, points, ranks, rewards, or progress will be taken back. Depending on the severity of the violation, a temporary suspension or permanent account ban may be applied.

4.6. Use of Third-Party Software and Hardware It is forbidden to use third-party software, hardware, plugins, or devices that externally interfere with the game, read or modify game data without authorization, automate inputs, provide information not normally found in the game, or give a competitive advantage. The normal functions of standard keyboards, mice, gamepads, audio devices, screen readers, and similar assistive technologies that do not provide an unfair competitive advantage are not included in this ban. Depending on the nature of the violation, a temporary suspension or direct permanent account ban may be applied.

4.7. Assisting or Encouraging Cheating The following behaviors are forbidden:

  • a) Helping another player to use cheats,
  • b) Sharing, selling, or distributing cheat software,
  • c) Providing technical support regarding cheat installation or use,
  • d) Advertising a cheat service,
  • e) Knowingly and systematically cooperating with a cheating player,
  • f) Encouraging or organizing cheat usage. Depending on the severity of the violation, a temporary suspension or permanent account ban may be applied.

4.8. Other Methods Providing Unfair Advantage Even if not explicitly listed in this text, methods, tools, or behaviors that objectively go beyond normal game mechanics and provide an unfair competitive advantage to the player can be evaluated under this section. This provision does not mean management can apply arbitrary sanctions. The evaluation will consider how the method works, the advantage it provides, the player's intent, the repetition of the violation, and the impact on other players.

5 Game Security and Sabotage Activities ⏱ 3 Min Read

5. GAME SECURITY AND SABOTAGE ACTIVITIES

5.1. General Principle Sabotage, attacks, abuse, and unauthorized interference attempts targeting game security, technical infrastructure, the development process, official events, or the Administration Team are evaluated under this section. These actions, which endanger the integrity of the game, security, or the sustainability of the community, are considered among the most severe disciplinary offenses. The basic sanction for severe violations in this section is a permanent account ban. Other accounts connected to the violation may also be investigated. The deletion, anonymization, or retention of account data is carried out taking into account current laws, legal obligations, dispute resolution, the protection of security records, and technical requirements. Offenses in this category are strictly ineligible for ban appeals or general amnesties.

5.2. Sabotage and Unauthorized Interference with Game Infrastructure The following activities are strictly forbidden:

  • a) Attempting to hack the game, servers, or the client,
  • b) Abusing security vulnerabilities,

If this rule is violated, the player is permanently banned. Other accounts created or used by the same person to bypass the ban may also be permanently banned.

5.3. Sabotaging Official Activities It is forbidden to intentionally, internally or externally:

  • a) Prevent,
  • b) Disrupt,
  • c) Manipulate,
  • d) Technically attack,
  • e) Threaten or harass participants of,
  • f) Organize to sabotage events, tournaments, live streams, community organizations, or official promotional activities organized by the game management. Violating this rule results in a permanent account ban. Accounts created or used to bypass the ban may also be subject to the same sanction.

5.4. Attacks on the Management Team and Official Resources The following activities are strictly forbidden:

  • a) Phishing against the game management,
  • b) Attempting social engineering,
  • c) Trying to take over admin or developer accounts,
  • d) Impersonating official accounts or staff,
  • e) Abusing translation systems or language files,
  • f) Distributing unauthorized files, clients, or game versions,

5.5. Ban Evasion In order to bypass a permanent or temporary ban, it is forbidden to:

  • a) Create a new account,
  • b) Use an account belonging to someone else,
  • c) Share accounts,
  • d) Use methods to hide technical identity or connection information,
  • e) Help another player bypass their ban. Accounts used to bypass a ban may be closed, and a sanction equal to or harsher than the duration of the original sanction may be applied to these accounts.
6 Nickname and Identity Policy ⏱ 3 Min Read

6. NICKNAME AND IDENTITY POLICY

6.1. General Principle Player nicknames must be used in a way that protects the order, safety, and respectful communication environment of the game community. Insults, impersonation, provocation, advertisement, redirection, or misleading behaviors carried out through nicknames are evaluated under this article. Management has the right to forcefully change or reset a nickname that violates the rules, with or without prior notice, or ask the player to choose a new nickname.

6.2. Sanctions for Nickname Violations In case of a nickname rule violation, one or more of the following actions may primarily be applied:

  • a) Mandatory nickname reset,
  • b) Issuing a warning to the player,
  • c) Asking the player to set an appropriate nickname. If the same violation is repeated, if the mandatory name reset is bypassed with different spelling formats, or if the administration decision is not followed, a temporary or permanent ban may be applied. Severe nicknames, nicknames containing threats, nicknames aimed at impersonation, or persistent violations can result in a permanent account ban.

6.3. Inappropriate Nicknames It is forbidden to use nicknames that are sexist, abusive, obscene, degrading, threatening, contain hate speech, or include expressions contrary to the communication rules of this text. In case of a violation, the player's nickname can be forcefully changed and the player can be warned. If the violation is repeated, a temporary ban may be applied; if persistently continued, a permanent ban may be applied.

6.4. Impersonating an Official It is forbidden to use nicknames that imitate the developers, managers, support staff, or other official game personnel, or nicknames that might cause players to think they are communicating with an official authority. In case of a violation, the nickname is forcefully changed. Depending on the nature of the violation, a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban may be applied.

6.5. Nicknames for Advertising and Redirection It is forbidden to use nicknames that aim to advertise or redirect to a website, social media account, broadcast channel, communication group, Discord server, trademark, product, service, or another game. Official partnerships and events explicitly permitted by Altai Studio are excluded from this provision. In case of a violation, the nickname is forcefully changed. Repeated violations may result in a temporary or permanent ban.

6.6. Nicknames Imitating System and Official Notifications It is forbidden to use nicknames created to be confused with a system message, game command, error report, security warning, or official game notification. In case of a violation, the nickname is forcefully changed. Depending on the nature and repetition of the violation, a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban may be applied.

7 Use of the Support System ⏱ 3 Min Read

7. USE OF THE SUPPORT SYSTEM

7.1. General Principle The support system has been created for players to communicate their technical issues, account problems, in-game violations, bug reports, suggestions, and other legitimate requests to the game management. The support system should only be used in an appropriate, honest, and reasonable manner. Abusing support tickets disrupts the workflow of the support team and negatively affects the resolution process of other players' requests.

7.2. Sanctions for Support System Violations For violations in this section, the player is primarily warned. If the violation is repeated, access to the support system may be restricted, or a temporary or permanent account ban may be applied. Continuous, systematic, or malicious abuse of the support system, or continuing the violation despite management warnings, can result in a permanent account ban.

7.3. Abuse of the Support System The following behaviors are forbidden:

  • a) Creating unnecessary or irrelevant support requests,
  • b) Repeatedly opening new tickets about the same topic without a reasonable cause,
  • c) Intentionally keeping the support system busy,
  • d) Sending support requests using automated tools,
  • e) Creating meaningless, misleading requests or requests that do not aim for a solution. In case of a violation, the player may be warned. Repeated behaviors may result in a temporary or permanent ban or a restriction of support access.

7.4. False Support and System Abuse The following behaviors are forbidden:

  • a) Knowingly giving false information about other players,
  • b) Providing fake or altered evidence,
  • c) Creating a support ticket for the purpose of slander,
  • d) Trying to get a player punished unjustly,
  • e) Reporting a violation that is known not to have occurred as if it did. Reports made in good faith but that cannot be verified after review are not considered violations on their own. For a sanction to be applied, the report must be evaluated as knowingly false, misleading, or malicious. In case of a violation, the player may be given a warning or a temporary suspension. In the event of continued systematic abuse, a permanent account ban may be applied.

7.5. Pressure, Threats and Harassment Towards the Support Team It is forbidden to do the following to the support team or game management:

  • a) Continuously send messages about the same request,
  • b) Repeatedly create support requests from different accounts,
  • c) Apply threats, insults, or psychological pressure,
  • d) Target individuals to get a decision changed,
  • e) Try to reach the personal accounts of the management team,
  • f) Harass support staff outside of the game. In case of a violation, the player may be warned or their support access may be restricted. If the behavior is repeated, a temporary or permanent ban may be applied. Violations that are threats, systematic harassment, or severe attacks can result in a permanent account ban.

7.6. Official Notification Channel All game-related:

  • a) Suggestions,
  • b) Bug reports,
  • c) Support requests,
  • d) Complaints,
  • e) Rule violation reports,
  • f) Appeals must only be submitted through the official support or communication system within the game. It is not guaranteed that reports made via personal messages, social media, in-game global chat, voice chat, or the private communication channels of officials will be reviewed or answered.
8 Account Security ⏱ 1 Min Read

8. ACCOUNT SECURITY

8.1. The player is responsible for ensuring the security of their account and protecting their login information.

8.2. Sharing passwords or other account access information with other people is forbidden.

8.3. Actions performed through the account are considered to have been performed by the account owner unless there is reliable technical evidence showing otherwise.

8.4. A player who believes their account has been compromised must report the situation as soon as possible via the official support system.

8.5. The excuse that the account was used by someone else does not automatically prevent sanctions from being applied for violations committed through the account.

9 Sanctions and Implementation Principles ⏱ 2 Min Read

9. SANCTIONS AND IMPLEMENTATION PRINCIPLES

9.1. Possible Sanctions In case of a rule violation, one or more of the following sanctions may be applied:

  • a) Verbal or written warning,
  • b) Text chat restriction,
  • c) Voice chat restriction,
  • d) Support system access restriction,
  • e) Restriction of access to certain game features,
  • f) Temporary account ban,
  • g) Resetting rankings, ranks, points, or statistics,
  • h) Rollback of unfairly gained rewards or progress,
  • i) Permanent account ban,
  • j) Closing accounts associated with the violation.

9.2. Determining the Sanction When determining the sanction, the following elements may be considered:

  • a) The nature and severity of the violation,
  • b) The player's intent,
  • c) Whether the violation is repeated,
  • d) The damage caused to other players or the game services,
  • e) Whether an unfair advantage was gained,
  • f) The player's cooperation during the investigation process,
  • g) The reliability of the evidence,
  • h) Previously applied sanctions.

9.3. Right to Sanction Without Notice Altai Studio may apply communication restrictions or temporary and permanent account bans without prior warning, especially for severe violations. The fact that a warning is listed for a violation in the terms does not prevent a harsher sanction from being applied for severe or repeated incidents.

9.4. Evidence and Records The following sources may be used to evaluate rule violations:

  • a) Server logs,
  • b) In-game action logs,
  • c) Text chat logs,
  • d) Available technical records related to voice communication,
  • e) Detections from automatic security and spam systems,
  • f) Evidence provided by players,
  • g) Other legally obtained information acquired by administration. A single player report alone does not mean the violation definitely occurred. Management evaluates the sufficiency of the available evidence.

9.5. Connection Between Accounts If it is determined that a person is committing the same violation across multiple accounts or trying to evade sanctions, the linked accounts may be investigated together. A shared network, shared device, or similar technical connections alone may not be considered definitive proof of belonging to the same person; however, they can be evaluated together with other findings.

10 Management Instructions and Unforeseen Situations ⏱ 1 Min Read

10. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTIONS AND UNFORESEEN SITUATIONS

10.1. It is not possible to list every possible violation method one by one in this text.

10.2. Even if not explicitly regulated here, reasonable instructions given by management connected to the game services must be followed in order to protect the game order, security, fair competition, or community structure.

10.3. This provision does not give management unlimited or arbitrary sanctioning authority. It is essential that management decisions are made by considering the purpose of these rules, the impact of the violation, the available evidence, and the principle of proportionality.

10.4. The fact that a newly emerged method of abuse is not explicitly named in this text does not prevent a sanction from being applied if it is clear that the behavior harms game security or provides an unfair advantage.

11 Personal Data and Account Data ⏱ 1 Min Read

11. PERSONAL DATA AND ACCOUNT DATA

11.1. Personal data and account records belonging to players are processed in accordance with the applicable laws and the privacy policy published by Altai Studio.

11.2. A permanent ban on an account does not mean that all data belonging to the account will be immediately and unconditionally deleted.

11.3. Due to security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, detection of ban evasion, or data retention obligations arising from the law, some records may be kept for a necessary period.

11.4. Personal data for which the retention requirement has expired may be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with applicable laws.

12 Updating the Rules ⏱ 1 Min Read

12. UPDATING THE RULES

12.1. Altai Studio may update these rules in line with the development of game services, the emergence of new security risks, changes in legislation, or community needs.

12.2. Significant changes will be announced to players, as much as possible, before they go into effect or on the date they become effective.

12.3. Continuing to use the game after the updated rules go into effect means accepting the updated terms.

13 Final Provisions ⏱ 1 Min Read

13. FINAL PROVISIONS

13.1. The invalidation of any provision in these rules by Altai Studio does not affect the validity of the other provisions.

13.2. Altai Studio's failure to immediately apply a sanction against any violation does not mean they have waived that rule or the right to apply sanctions in the future.

13.3. Headings are used solely to make the text easier to read and do not limit the scope of the provisions.

13.4. Every player who logs into the game is considered to have read, understood, and accepted these rules.

13.5. Ambush is based on fair competition, mutual respect, and a safe gaming environment. Following the rules is not just a requirement to use the service, but a shared condition for creating a sustainable and safe gaming experience for all players.
